The friend who made these wipes for me used 2 different fabrics: terrycloth and flannel.
Both were soft yellow and stitched together with a turquoise zig-zag thread! So cute! I always appreciated the 2 different types of fabric.
I like using the side with the soft flannel for gentle cleaning and the side with the terry cloth for when I need to go the distance and wipe up a lot of poop!

Simple Instructions for Homemade Baby Wipes
- Cut pieces of terry cloth and flannel into rectangles.
(If you choose to use a wipe warmer, measure the inside of the warmer and make them slightly smaller than its dimensions.)
- Put the “right sides” (the sides you want showing in the
final product) of the terry cloth rectangle and the flannel rectangle together.
- Stitch three of the sides and a bit of both ends of the fourth.
- Leave a hole large enough on the fourth side to enable you.
I turned the little case right side out.
- Fold the last, unstitched portion of the fourth side in.
- Using a zig-zag stitch, stitch the gap closed.
- Give the entire wipe a zig-zag stitch to give it a finished look!
